Premium Reduction Credits
Thursday, Jul 9, 2020At Pacific Blue Cross we recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has reduced access to dental and some extended health care benefits.
In response, Pacific Blue Cross and the Municipal Pension Board of Trustees announced temporary premium credits that will be applied to your dental and extended health premiums. This will provide some financial relief while assuring members that they can continue to get coverage for the services they need. The following rate credits are being applied automatically to your July, August and September pension payments.
- 75% credit toward dental premiums and
- 8% credit toward extended health care premiums
Plan members that pay all or a portion of their Extended Health Care or Dental premiums directly to Pacific Blue Cross will see the credits reflected in their payment amount for August, September and October.
