Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation Funding Criteria
To ensure your funding application or proposal has the best possible chance for success, it must:
- Thoroughly describe your organization’s mandate and how the proposed program or project helps to achieve the Health Foundation’s mission
- Include specific details of the need your program or project is addressing and how your plan will assist in meeting that need
- who will it serve (i.e. demographic information, including age ranges, location/s)
- the immediate benefits it will provide
- how results will be measured
- provide examples and/or details of the demonstrable community impacts
- Provide information about the program or project funding (preference will be given to applicants that have audited financials)
- the funds must be used within British Columbia
- detail how the funds will be allocated and how your funding request fits within your overall program or project budget
- confirm if funding been secured from other organizations in support of your program or project
- tell us if you’ve received funding from the Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation in the past
- Provide an overview of activities to promote the program or project, including social media, events or media opportunities
- include ways in which Pacific Blue Cross can help amplify your messaging through our public-facing channels
- Confirm information about your organization
- how it’s governed (i.e. board of directors, council, committee)
- its non-profit status
- affirm you do not discriminate your services by race, religion, creed, gender, or sexual orientation
