Starting June 1, 2026, Pacific Blue Cross is enhancing how counselling and psychology claims are submitted through Member Profile. Members will be able to search for and select from a list of validated providers when submitting claims for these services. This builds on existing requirements that services be provided by eligible, registered or licensed practitioners, and helps confirm eligibility earlier in the claims process.

These changes are designed to improve claims accuracy and reduce delays, without changing your overall plan structure.

• Members can confirm provider eligibility at the time of submission
• Fewer claims may require follow-up due to missing or incorrect provider information
• Pacific Blue Cross continues to adjudicate claims based on your existing plan design

• Claims may still be submitted if a provider is not listed
• Additional validation may be required in those cases before processing
• Validated providers will be added to the system for future use
