Go paperless

Opt out of paper communications on your personal health and dental plan.

All notices and documents relevant to your Pacific Blue Cross coverage are already available online through your Member Profile, and can be accessed securely anytime, anywhere—without the paperwork. You will receive an email notification when new documents are posted to your account.

Opting out of paper mail is easy and only takes a couple of minutes if you already have Member Profile set up.

If you don’t, getting started with Member Profile is simple and will allow you to access your coverage and claims at your fingertips.

Here’s how to opt out of paper communications:

  1. Sign in to Member Profile.
  2. Scroll down to Your Notices & Documents.
  3. Select View more documents.
  4. Turn on the toggle button marked Receive e-communications only—it should turn blue.
  5. A message will appear asking you to confirm that you are choosing e-communications only. Click OK.

You’re now ready to enjoy the convenience of paperless communication.
