How to sign up for Member Profile

Make the most of your Pacific Blue Cross benefits with secure, 24/7 access to online claims, plan details and more.

Member Profile gives you access to our fastest claims experience.

You can submit new claims, access your coverage details, and view your claims history on the go.

To set up your Member Profile for the first time, you'll need to go to our website.

Please note that you will not be able to use the Pacific Blue Cross Mobile app until you've created your Member Profile through our website.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Enter your Policy Number and ID Number. You can find these on your Pacific Blue Cross ID card, as shown below.

  1. Select whether you are a plan member, or whether you're the spouse of a plan member. Then, click Continue.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, birthdate, and your email address twice.
  3. You'll then be asked to select three challenge questions to protect your account. Choose three memorable answers. To help you remember your answers, try to think of hints that are personal to you and that others would not understand. You'll need to remember the exact spelling of your challenge question answers, and whether you used upper- or lower-case letters.
  4. Check the appropriate boxes to opt in for email communications from Pacific Blue Cross about our coverage and personalized recommendations. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  5. Check the box to indicate that you have read and agree to our User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
  6. Click Register for Member Profile
  7. Go to your email inbox and open the email from Pacific Blue Cross with subject line Activate your Member Profile. If you do not receive this email, check your spam or junk folder.
  8. Click on the hyperlinked temporary password given in this email under step 1. This will take you back to our website.
  9. Enter your Policy and ID Number again. The temporary password from the email should be automatically filled in for you.
  10. Create a password that is over eight characters long and enter this twice. Click Log in with your new password. This will take you through to your new Member Profile.
  11. You will receive an email from Pacific Blue Cross confirming that your profile has been activated and is ready to go.

With your Member Profile set up, you can now access it anytime by going to pac.bluecross.ca/Member or by downloading our mobile app.

To submit your first online claim, make sure that you have direct deposit set up in your account.
