We are proud to announce that our President and CEO, Sarah Hoffman, and the President of PBC Solutions, Barry Rivelis, have been named as two of BC’s most influential business leaders in the Benefits Providers category on the BC500 list, produced by Business in Vancouver (BIV).

The leaders featured on the BC500 have had a notable impact on BC’s communities, industries and overall economy. They are visionaries, innovators, connectors and trailblazers. They also embody the values of modern leadership: engagement, trust, corporate citizenship and inclusion among them.

Sarah Hoffman, an award-winning strategic leader, assumed the role of president and CEO of PBC in January 2023. Her career spans over a decade of executive leadership at Healthcare Benefit Trust, where she served as CFO and eventually as CEO. Her selection reflects her more than 20 years of experience in finance, administration and health care, as she guides PBC with unwavering dedication.

Barry Rivelis is the president of PBC Solutions, a subsidiary of PBC that was created in 2022. With an extensive history of executive roles at prominent health care organizations, including PBC, the Provincial Health Services Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health and Providence Health Care, Barry has been a driving force in creating and developing PBC Solutions. His leadership also extends beyond health care, as he serves as a director for the Royal Canadian Mint.
