Financial support when it's needed most.
In Canada, government healthcare typically covers most medical costs. But a serious illness could still end up costing you. During recovery, you’ll often see a loss or reduction of income which can make it difficult to manage your ongoing financial obligations.
Critical Illness Insurance from Pacific Blue Cross provides financial support, should a critical illness strike, so you can focus on what matters most – your health.
It can help pay:
- Rent or mortgage
- Child care costs
- Property taxes/condo fees
- Groceries
- Loans and credit card payments
- Home maintenance
- Utilities
- Replacement of spousal salary
- Home adaptation
- In-home support
What's the risk?
Pacific Blue Cross Critical Illness Insurance

The money can be used any way you choose – child care costs, mortgage payments, groceries, or even a family vacation. You’ll have financial support so the focus can be put on your recovery.
We’ll work with you to find the right Critical Illness Insurance solution for you and your lifestyle.
