Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation: 2021 Annual Report

Monday, Apr 4, 2022

Take a look at the tremendous work being done by the non-profit organizations that received support from the Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation in 2021.

It’s been said that we all rise by lifting others. The non-profit organizations that received financial support from the Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation in 2021 do that and more.

We invite you to read about them and the wonderful work they are doing to improve health and wellbeing for British Columbians across the province they serve in our Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation 2021 Annual Report.

Message from the Board Chair

Jim Iker photo On behalf of the Pacific Blue Cross Health Foundation Board of Directors, I am honoured to present our annual report for 2021. While its intent is to account for how we allocated our endowment, I believe its higher value lies in highlighting the wonderful work that is being done by large and small non-profit organizations in communities across this beautiful province.

As a group we are immensely proud that we are able to help these organizations help others. Many support the underserved – First Nations, children and youth, and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. Some provide programs to people who live with physical limitations or mental health challenges, or who are struggling with a chronic illness. A few take care of our caregivers. But the common denominator for all of them is that they are working towards improving health outcomes for the British Columbians they serve. And that totally aligns with the mission of Pacific Blue Cross.
