Tim Bishop Appointed as Managing Director of the Canadian Association of Blue Cross Plans
Wednesday, Aug 11, 2021The Canadian Association of Blue Cross Plans (‘CABCP’) today announced that Tim Bishop, CM has been appointed to the newly created role of Managing Director, effective August 1, 2021.

Tim is a multi-disciplined executive with a proven record of optimizing strategic efforts to expand the influence of category-leading organizations, such as the Canadian Marketing Association, Cineplex Entertainment, Lavalife, IMI International and Northstar Research Partners,” said John D. Crawford, President of the Canadian Association of Blue Cross Plans.
Tim brings over 15 years of strategic marketing and branding experience. Previously, he was the Vice-President of Marketing & Member Engagement for the Canadian Marketing Association. There, he led a multi-faceted team to transform the not-for-profit organization and grow its membership, engagement and revenues to record levels. Most recently, Tim has been the Founder of In Partnership With, a community-based content series featuring expert contributors to celebrate Canadian business and marketing perspectives.
Reporting to the President of the Canadian Association of Blue Cross Plans, Tim will provide leadership and direction in support of the mandate of the Association. His primary focus will be to steward the achievement of the CABCP’s strategic and operational objectives while working remotely from Toronto.
