Tuesday, Nov 9, 2021

The First Nations Health Authority is providing bulk supply of naloxone nasal spray kits to First Nations community partners.

The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is providing bulk supply of naloxone nasal spray kits to First Nations community partners and providers of urban harm reduction services for status First Nations clients in British Columbia.

This new approach will help increase access to culturally-safe harm reduction services and naloxone nasal spray kits, as well as support provider education.

Please refer requests for large and frequent quantities of naloxone nasal spray kits to the FNHA at: harmreduction@fnha.ca or by calling 1-855-550-5454.

Please note these changes do not apply across all Pacific Blue Cross plans, only to First Nations community partners and providers of urban harm reduction services for status First Nations clients in British Columbia.
