5.2 Provider Requirements
Once Pacific Blue Cross accepts your request to register as a Provider it will issue a Pacific Blue Cross Provider number ("Provider ID"). To register as a Provider, you must have at least one of the following Practitioners operating out of your Location:
Acupuncturist
Chiropractor
Clinical Counsellor
Massage Therapist
Naturopathic Doctor
Physiotherapist
Podiatrist
Psychologist
Clinical Counsellors**
To register as a Provider, you must also provide to Pacific Blue Cross the registration number issued to each Practitioner by the applicable regulatory or licensing authority under Applicable Laws.
**Practitioners must be a full active member of Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) or Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT).
